HARU stuck-on design was used to create optical illusions using the clever application on curved plastic boards. It is also suited to stick seamlessly from floor to wall to achieve a three-dimensional effect.
Through the layering of tapes and color play, the artist achieved a three-dimensional font art. HARU stuck-on design; tapes comes in color families suited for shadow effects in a variety of ways.
Working with Haru’s range of tapes, we have been keen to explore its creative possibilities. So we commissioned different contemporary artists to create works of art at our headquarters in Westbourne Park using the tape, each making a temporary exhibition. The results were exciting, and have resulted in commissions for Haru pieces for private homes, and public and corporate spaces. If you are interested in commissioning your own unique HARU piece, do reach out to us to find out more.

London Style is inspired by the geometric designs seen on the London Underground and public transport system. The interacting triangles reference the geometric tiles, painted zone grids and use of colour to create visual signage and enhance the station environment. The London underground map and it's colour palette are iconic - it's hard to see the 'corporate' colour scheme without thinking of the particular lines they are associated with. They supersede the need to use words to follow a route.
In an overseas workshop in Tokyo, our partnered design company hosted a camp using HARU tapes for decorating the Tokyo Museum space.
HARU is suitable to be laser cut at up to 1mm precision. Here, you can see the map of japan in detail; even for the small sections indicated by Silver HARU tape.

Scalable difficulty for different students' and teachers' needs.
School Legacy Project by Ang Mo Kio Secondary (2020). Two teachers that previously attended our HARU workshop created a series of artwork spanning across 10 different classes of Secondary 4 students. The simple process of selecting colours allowed the teachers to segregate each class and come up with independent designs inspired by the students' takeaway in their secondary school years. The blocks of artwork were then joined seamlessly to create a mural along the canteen wall.
During a 3-Day comprehensive HARU workshop, 20 participants were taught tape art, specifically using HARU tapes. Due to the translucent and durable nature of HARU tapes, our workshop focuses on a very hands-on workshop structure that allows the artists to explore the nature of the tape.

As part of SJI's school anniversary project, teachers utilized the range of PET (plastic-type) HARU to laminate the school floor. Even exposed to some dampness and cleaning, the HARU tapes stick well and did not peel off by itself.
Teachers that attended a HARU workshop previously introduced HARU tapes to their art students for mural-making. Secondary students were given the theme of 'School Subjects' to create murals in their corridor. Comon themes included 'Physical Education', 'Math', 'Science' and 'Art'.
We also hosted mixed-school workshops, inviting teachers across different schools to participate in a HARU workshop. The focus was on exploring the possibilities of tape art, in texture and colours.

Giving back to society through creative and engaging projects.
Installed at the void deck of Blk 7 Telok Blangah Crescent, this mural was created by the residents of that block. Led by spatial designer Wendy Chua, residents created the artwork from scratch, selecting components, shapes and colour schemes for Wendy to arrange. This gave birth to a transformative art piece that enlivened the communal space for the elderly residents and encouraged greater interaction between neighbours. Organized by DramaBox, in collaboration with ArtsWok Collective.
